Saperavi Barrel is produced from the Saperavi grape variety grown in the Kindzmarauli appellation in the Kakheti region. The wine was fermented in stainless steel vats and afterwards aged in oak barrels for 9 months. It is deep ruby in color, with a complex bouquet reminiscent of black berries, licorice, dried plum, spices, tobacco and coffee. Palette is well-balanced with a lively acidity. Best with: barbequed meat, steak, grilled vegetables. Best served at: +12°-14°C (+54°- 57° F).
